Wednesday, April 7, at 7:00
PM at Killarney's Restaurant and Irish Pub in Riverside, located
at 3639 Riverside Plaza Drive, Suite 532, off the 91 freeway at
Central. Meetings are open to all law abiding
citizens of good character, so
feel free to join us to learn about the Society! |
The Inland Empire Emerald Society was founded in
March of 2006.
IEES is incorporated in the State of California as a non-profit organization. The
primary objective of the
Society is to
provide immediate financial support to the families of Inland
Empire law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty, as well
as supporting the local, state and national memorials and to foster goodwill among members of the numerous law enforcement communities in Southern California and to celebrate the accomplishments and dedication of Irish-American peace officers.
On May 14, 2006, the Inland Empire Emerald Society became the
76th Chapter of the
National Conference of Law Enforcement
Emerald Societies headquartered in Washington D.C.
Emerald societies across the nation support the
National Law Enforcement Memorial and their local and state memorials. Annually,
emerald societies gather during National Police Week in Washington D.C. to honor their fallen brothers and sisters in law enforcement. Pipers from across the nation gather to play and officers
march to the memorial.
Emerald societies assist with the Candlelight Ceremonies and with the organization of the week’s activities. This is truly an event an officer should attend at least once in
his or her career.
